My Story
A Soul Calling, not a Career Choice
My path to healing didn’t begin with a plan — it began with an ending. I graduated in Mass Communication from St. Joseph’s College in Darjeeling, in Northern India, as a fresh graduate with no clear direction and no job in sight, searching desperately for work that fit. I had just passed Bhutan’s Royal Civil Service Examination, but I knew, without doubt, that a teacher’s job was not my calling. Teaching was simply not my cup of tea. What I didn’t yet know was that my real path — my soul’s journey — was already waiting for me in an entirely different field.
That answer arrived quietly, in 2012, when a close friend invited me to join a guided meditation session — the Meditation on Twin Hearts. At the time, the very word “meditation” felt like a term too advanced for me to even define……………

I sat in a room alongside experienced senior officials, feeling like an outsider among them, and listened to a twenty-two-minute guided recording played from a Bluetooth speaker — a recording I was told carried the voice of the Grand Master, founder of modern Pranic Healing. I understood little going in, but I followed what the voice said, simply and honestly, in English.
I still don’t know for certain whether that sitting was a turning point or a soul calling answered. What I do know is that in the days that followed, my job search — which had felt impossible — suddenly eased. Two unrelated people reached out to me with opportunities, as though whatever had been blocking my path had cleared in a single twenty-two-minute sitting. I took a position as an English job editor at one company, though even then I sensed it wasn’t truly why I was there. My soul, I was beginning to understand, was calling me toward Pranic Healing.
Building Something Bhutan Had Never Seen
By the time I completed my training — Introductory Pranic Healing, Advanced Pranic Healing, and Pranic Psychotherapy — I felt, perhaps, ready. A friend called with an idea: to build a Pranic Healing center together in Thimphu. We were young healers, new to the field, testing our hands and our confidence for the first time.
Our instructor travelled in from India to teach us, and beyond the classroom, we practiced on real patients on our own — real healing, without a fully solid confidence in ourselves, but carried forward by deep dedication and reverence for the teachings and the benefits we believed in wholeheartedly. Our confidence, in those early days, wasn’t self-assurance — it was trust in the energy work itself.
Clients came to us from all walks of life, many of them elderly, and their feedback — smiles, gratitude, visible relief — became the foundation our confidence was built on. From there, our small Pranic Healing center grew like a child we raised together, guided by two words as ourcompass: dedication and compassion, and one vision at the heart of it all — a Pranic Healer in every family. We came to feel we were blessed souls, entrusted with carrying a field entirely new to Bhutan.
That sense of blessing deepened further when our work was recognized directly by Her Majesty the Queen Mother Tsyering Pem Wangchuck, who became our Royal Patron. Working directly under Her Majesty, sharing the same mission, was a golden and rare privilege — the kind most people only dream of. I have never doubted that I was a chosen soul for this journey. Not a single day did I dislike this work — even in the earliest years, when our salary was bare
minimum and entirely self-made, month to month. Every payment we earned felt like a merit of blessing, received with gratitude rather than expectation. Through the daily practice of healing, I learned that every minute carried a new lesson, a new hope, and a reason to move forward with optimism rather than looking back. Each day, I found myself becoming a person I liked a little more than the day before.
The results of my healing sessions became my purpose. My life grew fuller and richer around that purpose, and I could face myself honestly at the end of each day, knowing I carried a larger responsibility now — as someone entrusted with spreading this teaching, and as a kind, compassionate instrument of the energy that moves through this work.
About Pranic Healing
Pranic Healing is a modern system of energy healing developed by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui, a Filipino spiritual teacher and researcher who spent years studying, refining, and systematizing ancient healing principles into a practical, teachable method for working with the body’s energy — or prana — to support physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing. His teachings, including the Meditation on Twin Hearts and works such as Miracles Through Pranic Healing, form the foundation of the training every Pranic Healer around the world, myself included, builds on. It was his recorded voice I first heard during that twenty-two- minute meditation in 2012 — a voice that, without my knowing it at the time, would go on to shape the entire course of my life’s work.
Since its development, Pranic Healing has spread across the world as a no-touch energy healing modality, taught and practiced in dozens of countries. My own training — Introductory Pranic Healing, Advanced Pranic Healing, and Pranic Psychotherapy — sits within this same global lineage, carried into Bhutan for the first time through the center my friends and we worked together in Thimphu.
Her Majesty’s Compassion in Bringing Pranic Healing to Bhutan
Bhutan had no established Pranic Healing practice before our small center opened its doors, and it is difficult to overstate what it meant to have that early, uncertain work seen and embraced by Her Majesty the Queen Mother Tsyering Pem Wangchuck. Her Majesty’s compassion — her genuine care for the wellbeing of the Bhutanese people, reaching beyond conventional medicine into this quieter, energy-based form of healing — gave our fledgling center something no amount of self-belief could have provided on its own: legitimacy, visibility, and the confidence that this work truly belonged in Bhutan. To serve under Her Majesty’s Royal Patronage, sharing the same heartfelt mission of healing and compassion for others, remains one of the deepest honors of my life. It was Her Majesty’s vision and generosity of spirit that helped open the door for Pranic Healing to take root here — a gift not only to those of us who practice it, but to every Bhutanese family who has since found comfort, relief, or hope through this work.
Fifteen Years In, Still Learning
As our small center grew and we had only one local senior instructor to rely on, several of us trained further and became instructors ourselves. Today, more than fifteen years and over, I still learn something new in every class I teach, and I continue to grow from every client I sit with. My energy scanning has only grown clearer and more accurate with time, and with over six sessions held on an average day for more than fifteen years, my sense of purpose has only deepened — a channel of deep compassion, rendering more help to more people than I ever imagined possible when I sat for that first meditation in 2012.
What I Believe About Healing
Through fifteen years of sessions, I’ve come to a deep and unwavering conviction: we are, so often, never fully healed. Not from the childhood trauma we carry quietly. Not from the fear born of stories we heard as children. Not from the insecurity of feeling unloved or abandoned in the ways we needed most. Not from resentment we hold for reasons we can no longer name. Not from the grief of losing or being distant from someone we loved deeply. Not from the anxiety of modern comparison, which tightens the stomach and disrupts something as basic as digestion. Not from the emotions we were too afraid to express — the ones still lingering, unspoken, in the throat, making it hard to breathe freely. Not from the invisible weight carried in the shoulders, a burden no CT scan or MRI will ever show, yet one that keeps us from sleeping peacefully and can quietly deepen into depression. None of this shows up as a solid, visible thing. And yet it is there with us, every day.
My healing experience has given me full confidence that Pranic Healing can address these unseen wounds and unrecognized pain — and that they are, in fact, removable. All it takes is belief, and willingness: my willingness to lay my healing energy, and yours to receive it.
Areas of Focus
My sessions draw on Pranic Healing, Pranic Psychotherapy, and crystal healing — including the properties of natural stones for clearing negative energy and shielding against dark psychic attacks. Over fifteen years, I have held healing sessions addressing a wide range of needs,

• Severe depression and low mood
• Support alongside recovery from broken bones
• An unhappy heart and the strain of a broken marriage
• Panic attacks and confused, overwhelmed minds

• Fear around aging, and the appearance of fine wrinkle lines
• Shielding and clearing from dark psychic attacks, using crystal and stone healingPranic Healing is offered as a complementary energy practice, and I always encourage clients to continue working alongside their doctors and other healthcare providers for medical and mental health conditions.
